1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using TeachCares (operated by TeachCares Private Limited, CIN: U72900DL2024PTC000000), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and all applicable laws. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately. These terms govern the relationship between TeachCares and institutions, teachers, students, and parents using the platform.
2. Description of Services
TeachCares provides a cloud-based School ERP platform including student information management, attendance tracking, examination management, fee collection, timetable generation, GPS tracking, learning management, parent communication, and related analytics — accessible via web and mobile applications.
3. Account Registration & Responsibilities
- •Institutions must provide accurate registration information during onboarding
- •Administrator accounts are responsible for managing user access within their institution
- •Users must maintain the confidentiality of their credentials and immediately report any breach
- •You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
- •Accounts may not be shared, transferred, or used by multiple individuals simultaneously
4. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree NOT to use TeachCares to:
- •Upload or distribute unlawful, harmful, defamatory, or abusive content
- •Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
- •Reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works from our platform
- •Transmit malware, viruses, or any destructive code
- •Use the platform for commercial activities unrelated to school management
- •Violate any applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations
5. Data Ownership & Processing
Institutions retain full ownership of their data uploaded to TeachCares. We act as a Data Processor under your instructions and do not claim ownership of student, staff, or operational data. Please refer to our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement for detailed terms.
6. Subscription & Payment
- •TeachCares is offered on annual or monthly subscription plans
- •Fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except as described in our Refund Policy
- •Pricing is subject to change with 30 days' prior written notice
- •Failure to pay may result in service suspension after a 7-day grace period
- •All amounts are in Indian Rupees (INR) inclusive of applicable GST
7. Service Availability & Maintenance
TeachCares strives for 99.9% uptime. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated 48 hours in advance. We are not liable for disruptions caused by force majeure events including natural disasters, government actions, or third-party service failures.
8. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the TeachCares platform, including software, design, trademarks, and documentation, remain exclusively with TeachCares Private Limited. Your subscription grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the platform only.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TeachCares shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate the subscription with 30 days' written notice. TeachCares reserves the right to immediately terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, you will have 30 days to export your data, after which it will be permanently deleted.
11. Governing Law & Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi. Parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation or mediation.
12. Updates to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be notified via email or in-app notification with 15 days' advance notice. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
